The Dauphin Island Heritage and Arts Council (DIHAC) is delighted to announce, “Corks For a Cause,” a special fundraising event to support free art classes for local children K-5 and preschoolers. The event will take place on Thursday, September 5, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at The Carriage, located at 1522 Bienville Blvd, Dauphin Island, AL 36528.
For $35 per person, attendees can enjoy delicious appetizers, a cash bar, live music, and breathtaking sunset views from the venue’s deck, all while contributing to a wonderful cause. The evening will also feature a silent auction showcasing original artworks, providing an opportunity for guests to take home unique pieces while supporting the arts in our community. Tickets are limited, so secure your spot as soon as possible to help keep the arts alive for our community's youngest members. Tickets can be purchased on our website and Facebook page. Door tickets are not available at this time.
About Kids Art Classes: We are sparking children’s creativity with our "Art After School" program, where imagination and artistry come alive! Guided by a skilled artist, this exceptional class offers a journey through various art crafts. Each session is thoughtfully designed to foster artistic development and self-expression in a dynamic and enjoyable setting.
Our classes are kept small, with a maximum of 10 students per session, to ensure personalized guidance and a nurturing atmosphere. This exclusive opportunity is available to children from, Dauphin Island, Bayou La Batre, Coden, Theodore, Grand Bay, Irvington, and St. Elmo.
